I used a 3 pouch 6 mag bandier with adjustable strap, then (so far) two standard 3 mag molle pouches. Might add 3 mags to existing 3 mags, or some other molle to the 3 mags. Bit of wrestling to get the strap around the bucket nice and snug and get the molle under the strap but not bad.
Notice that unlike the commercial Bucket Boss bucket bags, the TBB system keeps the inside of the bucket as a pure bucket (in case needs to serve as emergency latrine?
) Unlike BB bags allows standard lid to make tight seal so you can leave stuff inside the bucket in pouring rain, no bugs etc. Could even add TBB system to factory sealed full buckets of whatever without popping seal.
But more to the point, I've found the standard 3 mag molle with molle facing to be perfect general small tool pouch and wrench roll, etc. The pouches are right size for shoving in a 18v impact or drill, and them with molle facing allows you to place an screwdriver, pen or pliers one handed without even looking. Something will catch it.
Currently selling on Ebay 10 for $16.95 and seem very lightly used. For tool caddy cut off the top flaps.
I also like to use empty 1 gal milk jugs as tool caddy and general hanging storage. Just cut biggest hole in top and front that keeps handle intact. For extra durability cut another jug all around 4" up from bottom and stuff main jug inside for double bottom. Very handy for hanging to grab screws or nails from.
PS-I've got a BackPack and shoulder straps setup to carry a 5 gallon bucket as backpack. Felt rather awkward and hard to imagine with any real weight but was cheap enough at $15, but I guess might be the thing if on the 5 gal stackable system.
