Weight of all 3 guns combined is about 6 lbs. I'd carry only a handful of extra 38 sp, but about a brick of 22 LR hollow points, and some quiet 22's.

I actually own / collect armored fighting vehicles. You really are better off with a heavy APC with an M2HB on it than a tank; far more storage ( fuel / water/ food/ weapons / ammo / concubines ), usually better speed , fuel economy, reliability, mobility and ease of maintenance. ... at least that's been my experience and what I am going with.

The wife and I have a pretty good setup. Our pistols and long guns can use the same ammo.
We each have a Glock 19 (and I bought the Advantage Arms .22LR conversion kit).
Kel Tec Sub 2000 (with the full MCARBO upgrades)
Ruger 10/22

Not the best setup, but the shared magazine and ammo combination makes this a practical choice

I love it! You can't shoot bulk .22lr, and even the CCI mini mag stuff jams up sometimes. But it's still cheaper than 9mm.
