Costco 6v golf cart batteries made by ---> Trojan

Just got off the phone with them after seeking battery charging specs. The guy mentioned the 210ah 6v batts (2017 year model) are labeled interstate but made by trojan and have black case.

I think they are $90 each. A friend is running 2 in his RV and could not be happier. He was running two group 24 12v and is much happier. (so am I since I now have his old 12v batts)

I couldn't find any nearby Trojans (and didn't know about the Costco batteries) so I went with some Duracell type 31 batteries from Batteries Plus. Same 210 Ah and same $90 cost. The deciding factor for me was not having to rewire my RV -- I have five wires running to my +12v terminal. That's too many to cram onto one battery terminal and I didn't want to install a bus bar.

I had us2200s 2 sets of them both lasted atleast 7 years before starting to show signs of fading but could still run my trailer heater all night and have juice in the morning.1 set i bought new in 05 the others came out of my firends moho that he let go dry and replaced i brought them home added water and charged i put them in my trailer in 2012.

I replaced them with the costco ones and they dont stand a chance to the us2200s after 6 months they are about equal to my previous batterys when they were pulled and replaced.I will probably replace them this year after only 3 years and get us2200s or trojans. Will never buy another pair from costco i know others with same experience and a couple who had decent experience but they dont abuse them as much as i do.

As far 6v vs 12v theres no comparison the 6v can take good abuse get drained low run dry fill it and recharge. You drain the 12v low a few times its toast but if you maintain them dont drain the 12v low recharge it often they can do well i have to run a 12v in my cabover and can get 3 years out of them before i put them in my boat for the stereo battery for another year or 2.

We have over 190 industrial carts at my work that I maintain when not running my crane. The interstate guy told us their new GC batts are Trojans with interstate covers like you said. We do still get red Trojans as well which are by far the longest lasting. The black top Interstates are too new to tell how good they will be. I would still try to find actual Trojans if you can. They also make a high mileage Trojan labeled T145 that hold up well in our John Deere Gators. The regulars are T105's.

Whatever you do stay away from Powervolt they don't even last a year, my back hurts every time I see them because I know they need changed out.

Trojan flooded lead acid batteries deliver rugged durability and reliable performance at an affordable price. Engineered with Trojan’s T2™ Technology, they maximize sustained performance, energy and longevity.

I picked up a pair of 6v interstates at Costco

              Labeled 3-17

Middle cell is already bad on one battery and they have barely been used. Just minor loads and testing.

Kind of irritating because i have to return both. I want them to be from the same lot.
