    Duck gun?

What shotguns are you guys shooting this duck season? I've been contemplating getting a new shotgun after Christmas and wanted to know what others were banging.

Benelli Vinci Max 5. Guest gun is a Mossberg 930.

I don't bang either of them.

I shoot Benelli. But I would first look at what fits me best as that is how you become accurate.

25yo Browning BPS Stalker. with a 28in barrel and invector chokes It looks like hell and has been reblued 3-4 times. Since I hunt the bay and salt ponds rust is a problem, I have even been known to take a hot shower with my gun to get all of the mud and salt out of the hidden areas and help cut down on rust. I would like to have a fancy new shotgun but I refuse to spend money on a gun that will get destroyed hunting saltwater. It is such a great bird killer it also gets lots of time for turkeys and pheasants too

The best part of hunting and fishing was the thinking about going and the talking about it after you got back

Beretta A300 Outlander. I just wish it could run 3-1/2" shells.
                I fly everywhere backwards.

How do you like your Outlander? I considered purchasing one...

I purchased a Benelli M2 as an upgrade to my Remington 870 Express and my Ugartechea M30. That Ugartechea side by side is only duck gun that has never given me a problem in the field. The Remington on occasion would fail to eject a shell, but the M2 is a constant headache. When it works, I love it. But between the bolt not locking all the way forward, the bolt coming unlocked, and it failing to eject empties I am learning that Benellis are waaaaay overrated.

If I had to do it over again, I'd give the new Browning A5 a hard look.

Beretta A400 Xtreme KO. Used to shoot a Vinci but it spent more time in the shop than the field.

Thanks for all the unbiased input everyone. The only two guns I've ever taken in the field have been a browning bps (old old gun that I learned with ) and the 870 I bought when I was a youngin. From the research I've done and guns that I've shot and hunted besides I'm still undecided....
