    Very nice. Congrats.
    Cat's are some powerful fighters.
What type of rod and set-up were you using?
    15-30 with a slider?
I just drove through Dixon today.

Very nice flathead. Did you have to pour a concrete anchor pad to keep yourself from toppling over in that photo?

In all seriousness big cats are a riot. My biggest is nothing like that but ill never forget when I grabbed it by the gills and it started flexing and I literally thought it was going to break my hand as my hand got trapped.

No crap. Hefty cat that's for sure. There's some amazing rivers out here for giant cats. A buddy of mine caught a 72 lber. It was only 2 lbs shy of the state record.

It's nice to be back in a place where trots and jugging is legal as well. Nothing like setting a few trots. Then jug for a little bit and go back to check the trots. My kind of fishing. Lots of beer consumed.
