I sent emails and signed the petitions to support hound hunting every time I saw one. I love Lepard Catahoulas and coon hunting, but we don't need your sympathy so keep that for yourself.

What we are seeing is not the possibility of losing our hunting rights, it's the systematic destruction of them.

The system to dismantle hunting has been put into place. The money has been allocated (HSUS). The political party do get it done is in complete power (dem). Why get mad now? Oh wait, it's because they are after what you like to hunt. You had my support. You simply have my sympathy now.
      ^^^ This.

If you really want to see some gun owner apathy about what's going on, try to talk to trap and skeet shooters. They could absolutely not care less about bans and restrictions on your interests or mine.

As far as they are concerned no one wants to take away their high-dollar toys or restrict upland bird hunting, so they just don't care about anyone else. Those folks are going to be in for a huge, very unpleasant surprise one day.
Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

I appreciate every one of those signatures and emails sent. What you did was leaps and bounds more than the vast majority would have done. At the state Capitol we who opposed the hound bill numbered close to 1000 people that day. The people in favor were around 40. That bill flew through without even the slightest hitch every step of the way regardless of the opposition. It was if nobody opposed it. Hell, we even had a few republicans vote in favor.

I purposely wrote that to piss people off. I hope it does. Because it's so long overdue that it might just be too late. I will be fighting, calling, emailing, taking days off work to drive to the capital again like I always do. But forgive me for my lack of faith.

I'll be there with my employees and work trucks. Seems they are trying to put me out of business, again. I'm sure our comments won't be heard.

Thank your neighbor and fellow gun owners for passing Prop 63. For that gun control is a winning legislative agenda.

yes they are. IMO they want this state to be the first in the nation to have an outright ban on hunting.

Its sad and pathetic, how intolerant groups are dictating the rules for activities that they don't understand, practice, and/or affects them.

as i attended the meeting, regardless of every ones opinion, it did not seem to matter to the panel .because at the end of the day their going to do what ever special interest wants them to do!one thing is clear we must inter grate our self's with other hunters and sportsman and women to stand together fight the good fight and conserve our way of life and tradition. that's my two cents . oh further more the panel concluded that they are not going to ban dogs retrieving fowl or any upland game it were just rummer's from a internet?? allot of b/s
