There is no place. Laws only tell you what you can't do not what you can do. For big game you can carry any center fire weapon and load it with any amount of rounds that it can hold, "legally in the state"

Example: the state does not allow a fixed mag rifle with features, with more than 10 rounds so that would be illegal. A stock M1A with a pre-ban 20 round mag is legal.

" wait...I am the only guy hunting with a 75 round drum on my 7.62 RAW?"

Nope!! I hunt with a 1919 with full belt lock-n-loaded in a ammo can. Haha..

Dont worry about the internet A-holes. They wouldn't be like that if the were in punching distance. They like poking the pitbull through the fence, but run and hide when it can bite them.

Or just keep posting rules that don't exist.... see where that gets you.

This is a major part of the 'confusion' people speak of. Instead of doing a little research, they just repeat something they 'heard' from someone whether it's fact or fiction.

This is not accurate! Only an AR with a bullet button is limited to a 10 round mag. A registered AW can accept any magazine and a featureless build can also accept a pre banned 10+ capacity mag. Both of these are also legal to hunt with.

Why the hate? You posted inaccurate information and he asked how you got it??

That's what happens when you post things that are wrong.

Wait a minute, for a moment I thought this was the Arkansas hunting forum. They may have different rules than CA. OOPS back to cooking my beans and ham hocks

Triple post for the win for taperxz?

I run a featureless build and can use my pre-ban hi caps. Granted I don't take a 20 or 30 round mag out hunting b/c there is no point.

Of course this is wrong. Many AR style rifles can legally use any capacity mag to hunt with. You really need to learn the laws before you try to sound like a internet expert.
There are RAWs, featureless and none semi auto ARs which have no mag capacity restrictions.

Wrong again. I'm pretty easy to find. In fact, I've had hundreds of calgunners come to my home and can be found at many calgun's or other gun related events.
