This the most accurate AR rifle I've owned so far. Suppressed it shoots a average of .5 MOA, unsuppressed it shoots around .75 MOA. We are in the process of getting our FFL right now and will become a dealer for POF in the near future. Until then we just sell a bunch on nightvison and AR parts.

Thats impressive, especially for a piston gun. It is a piston operated AR correct? The night vision scope you have mounted, what gen. is it? I have heard that gen 1 stuff is cr#*p.

If you getting into selling AR's another top end brand that does not get alot of notice is Sabre Defence. I own one of their rifles and it is amazingly accurate. The company recently changed hands, but they are still using the same equipment and most of the same employees.

Yes, it's piston driven, but simple as it has very little moving parts to effect accuracy. The scope that is mounted on it is a Pulsar Sentinel GS 2x50 Gen 1+ and it definately worth it. We also sell Gen 2 and 3 scopes and I get dealer samples of those quite often, but they really aren't needed unless you don't want to use IR.

You sure didn't have that attitude in this thread, along with everyone else jumping on the bandwagon. Like how you snuck in "tiny" though

Yeah nothing "tiny" about two of those hogs. One was 175 pounds, the other was 125, and two smaller ones were around 40#. In the seperate picture, the hog with the long tusks was estimated at around 250 to 290, we couldn't move it! .223 / 5.56 will do it every time. However, a good majority of people can't shoot worth a crap, muchless shoot a running hog day or night.

Really Nosler 60 gr Partition Bullets in .223 are the key to success with a .22 caliber weapon. They are just plain destructive! The biggest hog I shot last night was 175# at over 200 yards and he was running up a brush covered hill. First shot dropped him and all I heard was a small report from my a AR and big "SMACK" sound when the bullet hit.

Did you even read that thread? I stated that Ive killed pigs with .223 but wouldn't recommend it and listed my reasons.

Also, if you do a search, you would clearly see that I have no issues shooting at small pigs with a .223. I do it all the time.

Large pigs in this state tend to be a lot bigger than large pigs in the OP's part of the country. A lot of that could be attributed to the legality of hunting pigs at night over there vs here. This has been discussed before.

I don't think anyone who hunts pigs in this state would look at a 125 pound pig and see some huge creature that wouldnt go down with a decent shot from a .223.

None of this should take away from a job well done by the OP. Good kills, and great pics. And I'm glad he shared his experience with the board.

There is no way that on average California hogs are bigger than Texas hogs, just no way. We have a much larger population and endless food supply for them to grow on, this causes a much better chance to take a large hog. A 400#+ hog in Texas is not that uncommon. I've killed at least 18 hogs in the last 12 months, and it didn't even put a dent in them. They just keep coming wave after wave and their population is near 3 million in just half of Texas being affected.

I'm not talking about average pigs. I'm talking about average LARGE pigs. Texas is a fantastic pig hunting state. However, a big trophy here, is going to be bigger than a big trophy in texas on AVERAGE. There are pigs in this state that are strictly nocturnal and might be 10+ years old walking around and are never even threatened by a hunter. If you talk to full time pig guides from both states about their average trophies they are involved in killing, you'll see what I'm talking about. Also, I'm not making claims about the numbers of your regular feral pigs. I've also killed more than 18 pigs in the last 12 months and more and more seem to show up. The biologist in my area claims that 80% of the herd needs to be killed on average in order for there to be zero growth annually.

                        keep the pics/stories coming.

I know for a fact that wild hogs rarely live past 6-7 years. So what do you rank this hog which was taken by one of my clients on one of our guided hog hunts last year? I have yet to see one picture of a hog coming from California that gets as big as this.

This is pic I got on my tree cam a couple of years ago. I have many more like this one. Both the dead hog above and the hog in this picture are no more than 4 years old at best.
