SCAM My brother found hunting lease deal

Turns out to be a scam. My brother gave his construction super the money. One of his subs went down there to check it out and hunt. Gate code did not work Went on property and got kicked off. If he had shot and animal would have been a felony. I cancelled my trip last week because I had no docs on it or written permission to hunt. I kept asking where is lease/ Who owns property?My brother found a lease in Texas. Border patrolman got transfered to another post. We are getting 100 acres for 3800 bucks a year has axis deer and whitetails and hogs. 2 feeders 4 elevated stands.

My brother has been friendly to BP that patrol near our property in Ft Hancock. they referred this guy to us.

Just locked it up. A buddy went out and walked it. 3 feeders and 4 elevated blinds. Saw a herd of 30 axis deer. Putting out game cams next week. Have to get insurance and license in place. Lucky he did not get caught on property.

I am going to have enough trouble keeping bros buddies from killing our whitetail. We have dandy 6 point on there. I am only shooting does and hogs.

i hope we can sustain the herd of those/it is going to be about feed. We have a spring fed guzzler on there. If we plant food plots it should help. We are landlocked on 3 sides so no hunters from there. Not near any well traveled roads. In Texas if you harvest game animal while trespassing it is a felony 3 days in jail. Restitution is steep.

My brother going there to fill feeders and look over property. Make sure it is posted. Put our locks on gate. I think next week is opener. I can't get there for 2 weeks

I am going down on 5th for couple days. 60 buck airfare to San Antonio then ride with bro to El Paso to add solar to our property there. hunting and work trip works for me. Hope to shoot couple axis for frig. Lost my money for airfare. No huntiing ranch/

Just confirmed going down there. Talked to warden he says that area has a lot of blacktail deer and axis deer. Going to meet him thur morning at local truck stop to introduce ourselves. Hopefully to buy ice so we can take game to our property in Ft, Hancock, I have to install more solar there. Another 3kw and inverter and battery array.
