Nobody who has ever done it would say that legal hunting of wild game is an economical way to feed yourself.

I've got to pick up a new one, the ranchers have been calling me to shoot some coyotes.

Based on other states, CA res fees are high. But it is CA after all. My daughters non res lic and deer tag for Idaho is cheaper than her res lic/tag here.

Do not apply to hunt big game out of state.
You know what it costs to hunt elk in Cali for non res? Lmfao
All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

If you’re planning to hunt migratory birds (including Dove), make sure you get your HIP Validation. I bought my license, Upland Game stamp, Deer & Bobcat tags at the local DFW office and when I asked for the HIP Validation, the lady said I didn’t need it. I said the survey asks about hunting Dove and it is required to hunt Dove. She still said no, not for Dove. I had to walk over to the counter, pick up the Waterfowl & Upland Game Regulations, and show her that it is required for hunting Dove.

Bought a lifetime license 20 years ago with the bird stamp option for $650.00.

Comes out to $32.50 per year, so far.

I have always filled hip out. They asked me bird counts yesterday for migatory birds. Took 2 minutes. Just got a usf&w survey in mail for migratory birds.

Ya, but you can shoot doves and surf the same day...

Not possible. License and deer tag here for a resident is like $80. Idaho non-res is $240 for the license and $300 for the tag.

Yes it is possible. Non resident Junior Mentored deer tag is 23.50 plus the Junior non resident mentored hunting license is 31.75= 55.25. Have a nice day
