Jim Mathews is a great guy and has a pile of maps you wouldn’t believe. He know of every guzzler in CA. I’ll follow up on this to help, but our departure from the commies is now short term...

There's nowhere to leave a comment. How do we see the report what isn't a link posted on nps

I'm for maintaining what has already been built. If they do decide to let them go or remove them we should be able to save the sources that are 50 years old or older under the 1906 Antiquities Act.

There's a goldmine of guzzler data there...

I'm aware that a sheep guzzler up a rocky canyon needs to be attended to by hand. Wanting wilderness to make some concessions to permitting some more efficient work or allowing the work period doesn't mean the people that do that kind of work are lazy. In regards to the small game guzzlers in the wilderness from what I read on their on the NPS water report the plan is to abandoned anything inside of the wilderness boundaries, they don't want to allow work period from what I can tell unless I'm missing something.

That and alternative 2 are the worst options.

I would say alternative 4 but then comment that there should of been an additional option that included management and repairs of existing small game guzzlers in the wilderness.

I know all about the MNP my family of 3 generations and friends were forced to leave it. They are basically kicking everyone out except for lookie loos, tourists There are only two ranchers left and one is on his way out. No miners at all. soon they will have 100% of Hunters out. That is their primary goal right now and will be until it's done. Don't believe me just watch! Ask yourself why they removed all of the wild donkeys and cattle they even talked of eradicating the Deer,Sheep and Chukars and it's still on their agenda. Only recently last few years did they acknowledge/admit there were Mountain lions in the area and physically posted such. California is a very Sad state when it comes to public lands and their uses especially hunting uses. we have 10 acres left that we can't do squat with because of the MNP sanctuary.

Oh I believe that is somebodies goal. Their water report openly stated they don't care about chukar because they are non native and they mentioned the requests to prohibit hunting... in a water report.

Yes all the alternatives have a catch as far as I can see. That's how they word these things. Make you think you need to choose between A and B where really you are free to choose neither.
