Bears are way smarter than people think. It probably knows the blind's purpose or just doesn't like non-natural stuff in its territory (materials aside, something new & constructed is non-natural). I think you might just need a better hiding spot.

Or maybe it was just testing it as its own place to hunker down but it just keeps collapsing every time it goes around to "kick the tires" of the place.

As I figure, if you're getting frustrated every time you lay dollar bills out on the sidewalk because people keep coming over to take them, the blame isn't on the people. They're just doing whatever they're gonna do. Destruction of our ideas by nature is similar. Take it as a clue that you're the one messing up. The bear is just doin' what bears are gonna do.

Good bears are always sniffing around looking for things that smell interesting looking for forage.

Put up a trail cam to see when he's vandalizing your blind. Then you'll know when to lie in wait (during legal shooting times of course) so you can use your bear tag.
