This bear keeps attacking my blind...

Every few days this bear comes through and attacks my blind (Colfax, CA)...and it's getting pretty shredded. Nothing inside but a pair of chairs. Thankfully it hasn't happened while my son and I are inside.

Anyone seen or heard of this before?

A little beef jerky. But we leave no wrappers or leftovers.

But the first time he attacked it, we had never sat or hunted in it yet.

Yeah, they investigate anything that isn't familiar to them, they are notorious for destroying trail cameras.

I could not tell what your blind was all made up of.
But bears seem to be attracted to petroleum products "plastics"
And on top of that nature has geared them to be very curious creatures

If you want the bear to respect your territory, mark it. Yes, that way. The alternatives are a) shredded blind or, b) use something more potent like Pine Sol that might also drive away the deer.

I had a cheap ground blind flattened. It was either a curious bear or a sudden wind down draft. Bear was the most likely by far. Now I won't leave my good one out except just.over one night or maybe two but I will never leave one out unless I'm willing to have it wrecked.
