i like using chicken liver for catfish or anchovies .With the liver i like to leave them out for a few hours and dehydrate this way they don't fall off the hook so easy . I like catching channel cat most of the time i just throw them back.

caught this one bass fishing a few years ago. 27 inches long 15 pounds I think

Fishing was great! We caught 26 Cats in about 30 mins or so. The weather was perfect. They are only pan sized but they fight really well. I dont think they are stocked.

1 cat every minute and 15 seconds or so for 30 minutes.

There were 6 of us fishing so it was not hard to do.

They seem to be the same size at Lake Elizabeth no matter what time we catch them. Every once in a while we catch some that are in the 6# range but the lake is so overpopulated with them that it is not very often.
