Reopening Part Deux! We have a more powerful server, twice the CPU and four times the RAM.
I'm kind of afraid to say this but... let's stress test this thing!
Got my first buck today!!!! Had a nice 4x4 broadside about 50 yards away, pull the trigger, "click". Learned my lesson about not pulling the bolt all the way to the rear first to chamber a round. My heart just sank. Stumbled upon this guy a few hours later. Taken in A zone off a private ranch by highway 68. He has some really cool points that come out of the base of his left side.
I'm still working on gettin into hunting on land. I've done a bit in the water though. Both the Vermillion and the Sea Bass were shot while free dive spearfishing.
We'll here's some of my hunting pics, not really recent but still great memories...
The Black Bear I took over my friends 2 Walker's with my 44 mag, 365lbs fully dressed
Took this hog with my savage 30-06, he was a dandy. My buddy let me have the big one
Turkey on a friends vineyard in Lodi, he wasn't very big but i worked my a** off to get him.
My biggest buck to date, B zone near Whiskeytown Lake.
A great double with my buddy on his ranch in Cottonwood, had to lay under a camo burlap calling with the sun beating down on us. When these to big Toms came into range 2 Jakes and a Hen were just 5 yards to our right. Droped 'em cold at 40 yards.
I bet nobody else has one of these... I shot a salmon last year during duck season. We had a lot of early rain and the marshes were full. So when the tide drops, we open the gates to dump water into the bay. Late-season salmon come up the bay sniffing for fresh water and this one ended up in one of our canals between the ponds. 12ga #3 shot from about 10 yards at a down & away angle...
not the smartest idea to post something illegal on a public forum...
