Went out to a new spot on the river last night. It was nice because I didn't have to hike everything in.

First bites came right when the sun went down about 9:15pm and I wrapped it up about 12:15. Caught 5 cats, 4 of which where in the 6-7lb range. Ended up letting the 2 largest ones go and only kept the 3 smaller ones. All the fish looked good and clean. Filleted mine out for a catfish dinner tonight.

    The keepers

I let a couple of these go.

Bought my first big boy toy the other weekend, a 12ft aluminum boat for fishing and duck hunting. Got on a bunch of catfish ranging from 3-5lb the other weekend when I took it out. Good times and the rest of you keep up the good work too!

Good for you. Haven't seen you around here in a long while. Stop by more often. We've evolved from 223 to new topics of argument, err discussion.

Looks SF Bayish. I have a client that runs 6-Pack charters out of Fishermen's Wharf. He runs Leopard Shark and 7 Gill Shark charters often (all catch and release).

No government deprives its citizens of rights without asserting that its actions are "reasonable" and "necessary" for high-sounding reasons such as "public safety."
A right that can be regulated is no right at all, only a temporary privilege dependent upon the good will of the very government
officials that such right is designed to constrain.
