It's a channel of farm lands along the canals, Even if you tried to go there you would have a hard time it's all private property. Spans from stockton al the way to Discovery bay "that's where my hunting ends" quite a bit of land. I worked in a industrial farming hardware/fab shop. So I got to know a lot of people with bad varmint problems .

Not much of a secret but private property I hunt out on some islands down in Nor Cal. I could go out every day and limit out easy. I got those 4 in 30 minutes.

Islands in Norcal? I live in Norcal... Just curious where said Islands are at... Not trying to go there at all just curious.

I took a buck and a doe 1st and second day on a three day hunt, could of taken more legally but I did not want to deal with too much meat. They encourage taking does.
