    Biggest fish this trip was a 52 pound tuna in the middle

    Caught this 21 pound pargo with squid off our dingy one morning

    another pargo

    and five tunas cought with squid the first day out

    caught these up at rock creek a little while ago. nothing to write home about, but they tasted great and i like the photo

    The funny part of the story is hours before I left the house for the airport I jokingly asked my dad "if I catch a record, will you have it stuffed for me?" He rolled his eyes and agreed. The day I called to tell him to get his credit card out he tried the old "I don't remember saying that" trick, but I eventually broke him down. Now that fish hangs above the entry door at his house, it's too big to hang anywhere in my current home. It would look ridiculous!

    BTW, we got a big black trashbag of meat from the taxidermist...it was salmon for dinner for a long while after that.

    I caught the 1996 Alaska record king salmon @ 72lbs and 56" long...if I had paid the 5 dollars for a derby ticket I would have been 5k richer and gotten the 1k taxidermy job for free. I think I was 15 in this picture
