Just curious, what are you making with it?
toys. Like slingshots and stuff. I sell to a local business that has school tours and they sell them in their gift shop. In fact, I'm here right now since I also moonlight(literally) as an overnight watchman for their overnight programs. I get to chase bears away, and type away on the internet.

Did you ever get a chance to try this with finer sawdust? I'd be interested to know if there was a difference.

A long time ago when I was young we used to make fire starters by putting saw dust in cupcake holders and poring hot wax on it just lite with a match instant small heat source or fire starter. Don

Our version in scouts for starting briquettes was sawdust in an egg carton, pack it down, stick a matchstick in the top then pour a healthy layer of paraffin over the whole thing. Tear as many off the dozen as you need for the trip.
If it was a snake, it would have bit me.
