The National Geographic channel was advertising a new series starting next month "Doomsday Preppers".

Nice, I think Netflix offers Natgeo shows, It probably wont be available there for quite some time (I no longer have tv service), but I'll have to check it out later.

I just saw a preview for a prepper type show and can't recall the name. Some guy decides to have his whole family go self-sufficient... looked interesting.

Actually, when I searched Natgeo doomsday preppers I got a short video of a guy with a slingshot.

Looks like they are making it into a series. They were casting in October and November, which is after the original show aired.

Some people just can't help bragging to the world what they've accomplished. I try not to post anything about what I have or don't have.

I just watched this video. I liked the show. I like the pool idea. Thats alot of stuff going on in that pool. I wouldn`t be telling the neighborhood what I have though thats just going to mean trouble down the way.

I was pretty impressed by the pool, etc. setup of that one family.

I agree with the others that talked about opsec, but then are sitting on a show talkign about it.

The farm was a really nice setup.
