Anyone put together their own MREs or something close? I was thinking of putting together my own and then vacuum sealing them. What do you guys use?

I love the spam singles, also kipper snacks are great to. Always have some in the pack.

I'll package up my own depending on my needs and the storage times that I need.

I've done my own "home made" version for camping once. It turned out larger size wise that your standard MRE since I included a package of Itchiban noodles, a couple of small packages of dehydrated veggies, SPAM single, powdered ice tea mix, and a Skittles. Too bad that Food Saver does not sell colored bags like brown or green to give it a "authentic" MRE look.
