    Camping product reviews

Recently enjoyed a week long Yosemite backpacking trip and I have to give some positive feedback on the gear I used. I have tried different stuff throughout the years and I think I hit the end of my search for perfection- this is as close as I can get.

Gregory Baltoro 70- fit well, held everything, was fairly light and super comfortable. It never bothered me once and that is a rare statement.

Kelty Gunnison 2.1- good balance between comfort and weight. Quick set ups, held up in wind and storms and was inexpensive. Not sure about plastic pole connectors.

Jetboil cup and frying pan- Super stable, heats up fast and packs light. Pricey but well worth it. Frying pan sticks pretty bad without oil.

Big Agnes Grouse Mountain and insulated air pad- Perfection! I need a wide shoulder box so I can sleep on my stomach and this is it. The pad attaches to the bag via a sleeve and moves with you. I was warmer and more comfortable than I have ever been.

There is more but that's the big stuff.
