          Further:
Cow Mountain Rec Area (gun and dog okay)
          Snow Mountain(gun and dog okay)
Boggs Rec. Forest(gun and dog okay)
          Pinnacles National Monument (no gun/dog)

It gets really hard when you want to bring a dog along, so check the park regs first so you dont get there and have to leave because you're dog is not allowed............and dont tempt the tickets for the dogs, up on st helena ive been told its a $500 ticket.

Wildernesses are gonna be the place to go because you can take the dog and gun.
          Hey OP,

Here are the URLs for guns in Pt. Reyes and Pinnacles National Monument. These are NPS websites. I UOC and LOC in National Parks all over the country. Park Rangers are cool about it. Most know a 1983 lawsuit is possible if they illegally detain the wrong law-abiding citizen.

UOC is legal on NPS and NFS land, and will be legal after AB 144 is signed into Unconstitutional law.

Looking for places in the bayarea or within reasonable driving distances, but I dont want something crowded with joggers, real hiking.

I have no idea where to go.

Also would like to take my dog, would this be dangerous for her without special training?

I have good boots, a good pack with hydration and emergency gear. Will probably get my dog some gear to if it safe for her to come.

Also would like to open carry, or LUCC.

              TIA
              Hey 21sf,

Hiking is lots of fun, and yes a great way to get exercise.

I hike national forests, national monuments, BLM land, and anywhere else I can legally pack my concealable weapon. I UOC in Kali NPS destinations and LOC in National Forests. I LOC in most western states.

In Kali, always buy a hunting license if you are on BLM or a National Forest land, as this gives you extra legal protection even though you are not hunting.

              Here are some recent pictures:

The last picture is of my concealable weapon.

              have fun
