I have tried these and they taste great! 1 minute in the microwave to re-heat, for SHTF just open and eat it! Plan to get more...TURNING and turning in the widening gyre

It reminds me of what Mick Dundee said to the reporter lady in the first movie.."It tastes like s*** but it'll keep you alive".
I really try to avoid processed food of any type.. but in a pinch it's likely to work.. I've had the expensive MRE's and they just taste ok anyway, so they likely compare.. I wouldn't want to eat any of that stuff unless I had to though.. and while the expensive MRE's cost double that amt, their shelf life is why I buy them.. 1.5 years is a relatively short shelf life comparatively..Last edited by sargenv; 04-19-2011, 10:23 AM.Comment
