Survival in the woods and allergic to fish

Alright everyone I have a question. Say I am "surviving" in the woods and I am allergic to fish. What else is easily obtainable to eat. Oh and I'm not good at trapping. Any help would be appreciated.

Easily? Whatever you have with you. After that, homework is required. Do a little web searching for bushcraft skills and you'll see many, many traps and snares that don't take a rocket surgeon to construct. Not good at trapping? How good were you at shooting when you started? I'd be willing to wager that you know ak and ar, that you didn't know back when it seemed so daunting . . .
Expect barter to be HUGE, so, even if fish is not for you, they can be easily trapped and traded for ammo, rabbits, ammo, water, ammo, matches . . .you get the idea.
Not sure if you can still get it, but Richard Graves wrote "Bushcraft" in 1978 or so; I highly recommend it.

I need to get to the island in order to live... I can not swim, oh and I am not good at driving a boat...what should I do?

Large animals i.e. deer, hog and etc...
Buy a shotgun for fowl
Learn how to trap

Get a English Spanial.
My wife picked up one at the pound and every time we let it out in leaves us a pile of dead birds, squirrls, rabbits and what ever else it can find on the doorstep.

Insects are always good for protein.

I keep a couple of the classic spring-operated Victor mouse and/or rat traps in my supplies for trapping chipmunks, mice or whatever small rodents happen to be in the area. A .22LR survival rifle like a Marlin 70PSS would give you even more options and you could gather small game while staying on the move.

Plants are another option to supplement your insect and rodent diet, but you can't depend only on them because they don't have enough nutrition. I have a bunch of edible plant books, but this one is easily the best edible plant book I've found for this area. The color photos and detailed descriptions make it real hard to mistake a poisonous one for an edible one.

I wouldnt go to the "woods". Every person who didnt prepare and some who did will be going to the woods to "live".
