    That's the Cherry Oil Road. Any road that leads to a power producing dam is open all year. There may be closures for slides or what have you. But PG&E keeps them open. The forest service maps will show roads subject to seasonal closing. PAX

        Do you mean in that area? FWIW Down here you're gonna XC Ski or snowmobile to Edison, Florence, Courtwright, etc. PGE and Edison power.

            I know it is always open from the south, but last time I called a month ago the north entrance was closed. I have one of the maps from the Ranger Station, they are great.
