Emergency food
Honeyville Grains sells online and also has a store in Rancho Cucamonga. Lot's of food options.
Unless you eat this kind of food all the time, another good choice is just to increase your stores of food of the types you normall eat. For me this means lots of rice, beans, cans of soup, tomatoes, stock, meats, etc.
Don't forget your water. It's semi-arid here in SoCal, so you'll need to either store water or have a ready source and the means to sanitize it.
Honeyville sells handy 5 gallong jugs for $10 apiece. That's about the largest you can easily carry. They also sell larger ones up to 75 gallons or so.
Pretty awesome place to shop. I was just there the other day.
Their #10 cans are sealed tight with oxygen inhibitors in them and their rice, beans, wheat, etc., all have a shelf life of 5-10 years. I bought some freeze dried meats and other things that don't expire until 2028!!!
