Hell Yeah! The necessities of life include shelter, fire/warmth, clothing, food & water & ICE CREAM! LOL!

And for those who think I've forgotten ... firearms and ammo!
I'm not having a glass of wine, I'm having SIX. It's called a tasting and it's classy.

Buy some Tom Harrison maps. They're $9.95 each whether you get them at REI or elsewhere. Great topographical maps with even minor trails marked. Water and rip resistent.

A yoga instructor told me they're unmatched in working your foot out, so I bought a pair. Let's just say I did a three mile run for fun after I bought them. I could barely walk for three days. They're awesome and have really strengthened my feet up. For what it's worth the store I bought them from the guy warned me to break myself into them. He said a lot of people get them and then attempted to run what they're used to, regularly causing stress fractures. You're basically starting from ground 0 up with muscles you almost never use, so you have to make sure you don't over work them at first. Which can be hard since the worked out ones are telling you to gooooooo.

And one big difference between off-roaders and lets just say hippies. Is that offroaders understand there needs to be both designated hiking places and offroad land to accommodate both parties needs. Hippies don't even attempt to make a compromise and want all off-roading banned. A real annoying group they are.

Or, make my own ice cream maker out of a coffee can filled with ice/rock salt and a small can filled with cream/sugar/eggs/vanilla - saw this on Food Jammers on the Cooking Channel.
X2 on the ice maker being terrible. They've been around for awhile. My sister has one and I don't even know what to call it's creation. More of an ice cream slushy hybrid.
