I've seen them demo'd on YouTube by a hot chick with big boobs.
Looks like they work well.

The clock in your shop must run a lot slower than the clock in my shop. -

Looks like a nice stove but for one thing. When you set the pan or pot on top you will close off the flue. The X needs to give some room between the pot and where it's sitting. Your stove looks well built and sturdy I like it even though I cant tell how big it is from your pictures. Is it made from steel or aluminum?Comment

It depends
How and where will you use it?
It's a solid design- backpacking, Glamping, Backyard in a quake?Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED
Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)
Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET
Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

That's a good observation. Maybe I should cut some openings near the top.Looks like a nice stove but for one thing. When you set the pan or pot on top you will close off the flue. I cut it out of .12 316SS

It looks like you built a really strong one that would last beyond an apocalypse. If you build more you might consider making the feeding chute a little bit longer , so that folks can feed in longer sticks and twigs without breaking them. That's the big benefit of those things is you can get a lot of heat from just twigs and sticks or even leaves, if you keep feeding them into the chute.
But there's also something called the Dakota fire hole that you can just make by digging two connected holes into the ground. Preferably using a mound on the side of a hill and you'll get that same oxygen feeding effect into your fire.
But again I say congratulations! It looks like you built a great one.Comment

And ours is for glamping. Having a cool little mini fire before bed, something you can roast a few mallows over a fire, and it REALLY spits out the heat. I'm not sure on the design on mine having TWO entry burn pots, but I plug the lower one with a couple of 2x4's and that seems to help with flow. If it's sucking too much, I will pull one of the lower 2x's partially out. Let it breathe some. You can get a pot to boil right quick on one with the right wood and a small little fire.Comment

Some say that he once mooned two prostitutes just for a round of drinks, but wasn't surprised by the reply......They call him, the Hutch
Some say that he rode a dirtbike 7k miles across the country and that he once applied Bengay to his own testicles for a mere $50............They call him, the Hutch -Top Gear
