      There are some places off 395 before getting to Bishop, but I am not sure about camping. If I recall correctly, there was a place or two with camping and fishing not far off the highway. Small lakes or ponds, so maybe bass there. Check out the AAA maps if you have them.

          Casitas is a pretty lake nice campgrounds. Cachuma nice great campgrounds lots of oaks. Close to Solvang nice town to wander around. Have a great breaksfast. Go to Casino and make your donation.

              PM me I might be putting my boat up at Cachuma more convenient for my partner. Might work a trip out I like Cachuma beautiful campground and I have a 17' deep v aluminum boat with 2 4 strokes.

                Same here. Never seen it packed. I mostly deer hunt up there though. I camp on the north side of the lake in the dirt. Solitude.

                  Whenever I pass through there it always seems to be a holiday weekend. Also, I'm probably visiting the wrong spots.
