Reopening Part Deux! We have a more powerful server, twice the CPU and four times the RAM.
I'm kind of afraid to say this but... let's stress test this thing!
They took my money back in July but still no shipping notification which is unusual for them.
Weird... I did order early I think, but I also forgot to pay the invoice. I am still used to them automatically charging the card you paid the deposit with... I paid about a week or so after when I got a reminder email and then they shipped it... I received it when I posted it. Yesterday about 5pm or so.

Yea they dinged my account back on July 21, it’s just not like them to ding the card/account and not ship soon after. At least that has been my experience. I placed my order at like 605 the day ordering opened.
Yeah maybe check your account on the site to see if they shipped or it is "awaiting shipment" for Monday and call or email after that. Did you get a sheath? Maybe they are doing some weird batches of sheaths first.

Says awaiting shipment, I’ll give it some time and if nothing in the next week or so I will email them. Nope no sheath. Mr. brown will get that job for me.
it should’ve been at least a 6.5” to be half way balanced. Nice blade, but another swing & miss.
I probably woulda preferred a slightly longer blade, but I have those.
Balance isn't deal breaking to me, the balance is right behind the first rivet, almost on that rivet... not bad. The handles look anemic and too slim in profile, but they are fat enough pieces of micarta to make it a healthy grip for me, maybe that's where the weight comes from.
We will have to see about this new steel... or old steel that they decided to use. Sounds like tougher 1095.
I don't hate it. It was a $140 blade before shipping and fees which is a decent deal. There are some makers out the selling a small piece of S35VN with 4" cutting edge and a artsy logo for $400. I still find the most utilitarian value in SYKCO and Swamp Rat, but the old designs are going to remain the classics if they go nuts with way out new designs. This one coulda use another swedge.
All I want is a SYKCO 711 with bowie swedge to come back. You want something larger but feels like a handy feather, try SYKCO with the minimal tang and grippy shock absorber handles... never seen one break because it wasn't full tang.
After enjoying my knockoff Chinese Delica (made by Ganzo in 440C) for year, I finally bought the original - in K390!
It was just an old plywood boat, with a '75 Johnson, with electric choke. A young boy, two hands on the wheel, I can't replace the way it made me feel.
