I hear you. I have a small 21 insingo plain that I just cleaned and did a little action enhancement to. It's smooth, but not this smooth. Actually I think I'll take the 21 apart again and try the Chris Reeves grease. I used 10 wt. Nano-oil on it because I heard it didn't collect as much gunk. It's not as smooth as when I got it though, so that has to be the reason why.

Seriously though, the 21 is erotic smooth. Just unreal. I'm surprised that the scales aren't more grippy. Maybe they break in a bit, but don't seem overly aggressive to me right now.

Just picked up a Zero Tolerance 0566 Hinderer. Love it! Small enough to be practical, drop-point blade, ELMAX steel and deep carry clip. I've carried Spyderco's, Benchmade's, Emerson's and the odd Kershaw for...ugh...26 years, and this knife is superb.

Experience Zero Tolerance Pocketknives. Precision machining, superior craftsmanship, ultra-premium materials, and a higher standard of performance.

I will give details when I get my knives back... don't want anyone's knives going into limbo. I am patient, many aren't.

Another recent find. This Spyderco ATS-55 was in a jumbled box of various branded Chinese knives in a local antique/curio/gift shop. I paid $15.

I just picked up an Emerson/Kershaw CQC with the wave feature. Store was remaindering them out. I think there's one left @ Sportsmen's Supply in Campbell

Statgear T3. Has everything on it that I wanted. Kind of bulky but I love it.
Let me guess... this isn't about the alcohol or tobacco.

I just picked up a ZT 551 in Elmax for $102 shipped. My first folder purchase in over 10 years because I'm wearing out my Benchmades. Seems like people like the ZT's. What are your guys thoughts on the 551 and did I get it at a good price?

The only thing I know about the 551's is that you got a great deal at that price depending on condition, and they are an earlier desirable model from 2010 that came before the 0560/61. They have bushings/copper washers like a lot of Benchmades do instead of the KVT bearings. G10 is really grippy.
