I have an excellent condition, low-round-count Kel-Tec SU-16A rifle in stock configuration. Its fired less than 300 rounds and functions/fires flawlessly. Looks are 98.658%, no damage and only slight noticable finish wear in the action. Has both stock 10-round mags, tri-pod forend, and the butt-ugly SU-16A sights.
I'm puttin' out the feelers to see if there might be a fellow CG'er who would trade the Kel-Tec for an AR-15 5.56 16" complete upper assembly. I'm looking for a new unit, but brand isn't really an issue so long as its not crap.
I'm buying a lower (Aero Precision) and a parts kit tomorrow, and as much as I HATE offing one gun to get another, especially a complete ready-to-go rifle for parts, I'm broke and I want an AR badly enough to do it.
I might consider selling the Kel-Tec, and if I can't find a trade, I'd ask $425 for it.
I'm in the Marysville/Yuba City area but would be willing to travel to the Sac area for a trade.
