Beware of PERPRIDE

Keeps spamming me on all my posts and private messages to trade sets of plates for guns that I post on handgun or long arm marketplace. His company is Longfri and its out of business. Last post on their Facebook is 2017, and he's trying to offload his failed inventory by making trades with people for their firearms. If this business is failed, and they haven't been active since 2017 in any form of social media post, aren't these plates expired by now? BEWARE>

Buyers beware of…. jmontana …..aka Jim will set meet time and pull a no show, no response.
set a meeting time and place, morning of, he text me 20 minutes before set meeting time saying he was the there. I replied to him, “Okay awesome, I’m running 20 minutes behind, my apologies”.
Arrive to FFL, waited for over an hour, called and text him multiple times…no response, no nothing.

I would advise avoiding him for selling and buying.

Hello Jay, thank you for the shoutout. I didn't realize that not responding within 24 hours constitutes me being a "troll" and ghosting. The sad part is that I actually was planning on calling you today, but due to your impatience you assumed that I was a troll and ghosted you.

Within 11 hours of your last message (including overnight hours), you questioned my legitimacy in wanting to make a deal, seemingly first thing in the morning (timestamps in the image are an hour early FYI). Another 4ish hours after that, you proceeded to insulting me, and then posting about me shortly after that in this thread. Why would I want to establish contact after that? And for record, I did respond...see the attached image.

Regarding my logins, so what? Do I not have a chance to think about this some more? It hasn't even been a full 24 hours yet and you're already calling me out on this thread.

Additionally, isn't this is common when it comes to private selling? I've received offers before and then had people actually ghost me, and that's fine! Even with following up politely (for example, "are you still interested"?) and no response, I just move on. There were no commitments made and it's up to you if you want to continue doing business with me or not. The unfortunate part is that I actually intended to respond, but you just were not able to wait.


Just wanted to respond from my perspective, and if me not responding within 24 hours constitutes being a "troll" and "ghosting", so be it. Just know that if you're dealing with this user, respond immediately or they will proceed to insult you.

Honestly, I'm sure you've made a number of fair transactions, and so have I...it's just unfortunate that we weren't able to make a deal just because you couldn't wait and then proceeded to assume the worst of me.

Beware of @jrocklage. He was selling a SAI Glock for $1500. I message him and we agree on his asking price. We coordinated a transfer date, the FFL is 1.5 hrs from me. I checked in with him the night before to confirm we were still good and he confirmed we were. He proceeds to text me the following message when I’m about 1hr out already on my drive. “I can’t do it today. To be honest I’m hesitant about selling it for so cheap. It cost me well over $2500 and I can’t let it go for that price.”

Zero chance of me engaging with someone who is calling me a troll based on no response between 8:02 pm and 6:47 am the next morning. I’d be concerned about transacting under those circumstances. Unless there is a part here I’m not seeing, I’m withPolarWolf on this one.
