If memory serves, Red box is new ammunition, while blue box is remanufactured ammunition. The black box is top-of-the-line Gold ammunition.

Black Hills Red Box is their basic ammo and is excellent quality, Blue Box is match grade ammo. Both are new, not reloads. Winchester White Box is good ammo, but pretty basic, good target ammo. All of the ammo for sale is new, not remanufactured/reloaded.

Sorry CA357, but I have to stand my ground. The blue box loads are commercial remanufactured loads and the Red Box line is new ammunition. Kindly double-check yourself... I did not mean to crap on your thread but I am merely stating the facts.

I stand corrected Professional. Dammit! I bought it thinking it was new ammo and that the blue box just indicated a premium/match ammo. I certainly paid more for it than the new red box 55gr.
My apologies to the board. I'm withdrawing it from sale.

I already acknowledged my error. I purchased the Black Hills Blue Box ammo thinking it was new ammo. I certainly thought the price indicated it was. There was no intent to deceive anyone on my part. I apologized and even withdrew the ammo from sale in post #8. So 1911whore did you read post #8?

While I'm at it, I changed the number of boxes and price of the Black Hills 55gr Red Box to reflect what is still available, but missed changing total number of rounds from 600 down to 400.
