Beware of buyer/seller

I've had several "0 iTrader" members make firm " lower than asking" offers to buy, and then flake on their offer! Not illegal, but frustrating.. I've been reluctant to give them negative feedback... not worth a p.ssing contest but frustrating for sure.

Yea, that's part of the business. I've flaked before as being flaked on. But you can leave a neutral feedback i think, but a negative feedback over something you have not lost money, time, or product on is against the rules?
Unless you were in terms to meet and you go to ffl and buyer doesn't show up, then I think you can leave negative feedback.

I had a user on here respond to a WTB in this way:

"I've got this kindly send me your email address or contact so we can talk better"

User literally registered within the hour and has 0 posts.

Obviously this is similar to Craigslist where people troll for info.

And here is another one by a brand new user, just joined and with 0 posts

"If you are still looking please let me know"
(205) 651-XXXX"

Did these get reported?

I was contacted by a potential buyer.
The user joined in May. Since then, the user has made NO posts. Also, NO other user has visited this buyer's profile page. Looks like I am their first contact on PM.

Here's one input.... If a scammer, I expect he will try to get all your contact info for later use... we can only guess what that is for?? ... suggest divulge nothing but info about your sale item. See what happens.. if he wants to buy it, then an in person meeting might pan out, might not... ?? Good luck!!

Ronald. Yes, could be a set-up for future spear-phishing.

The member explained he couldn't figure out how to reply within my for sale thread so sent me a pm. And he was asking for photos of the gun.

I can't reply to that user by PM because their PM box is full.

When I try to PM him, I get and error message:

"___________ has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space."

His wtb ad does seem odd. He had a wtb trijicon ad up and found within the same day he posted by another member who seems to have no profile. These scammers are getting smart and acting to be a member by spending time in off topic before acting. Or maybe he got scammed and wanted a way to get money back? Just my speculation.

Update with scam claim against behind enemy line, I got denied my $150 for the geissele triggers, that hoe got my money. Whatever lesson learned not to panic buy cheap ****
