- Is there a hi/lo mode? How to switch? [Answer: single mode]
- Battery life on each w/ regular AA? (youtube video says 1hr+ on 'high')

Doesn't look much different than the $5 costco lights if it only has high mode. (no strobe... please)

There are virtually no real reviews on this thing. The youtube video is an advertisement. The other reviews are from flashlight fanatics who focus on tearing it apart and replacing components. No mention of runtime.

Received the three I ordered last night. All three work just fine and IMO, are a fantastic deal at $10 each. Solid feel, good clicker, glass lens, descent light and throw running on a AA battery.

Next up, finding a good deal on some 14500 batteries. Thanks again OP

I've bought several AA flashlights over the years.

This is by far the best one for its price. Easily lights up 25-30 yards out on the AA. It does not feel cheap like the $3.99 ones on Amazon. Well worth it for the backpack, car, office, go bag.....
I've been turning it on and off for hours, taking out the trash, lighting up the backyard, took a dump with the lights off, etc...

While you're there you way want to look around at some other stuff. They have great deals on torches/lighters and all kinds of odds/ends. Takes a while to arrive but I have ordered from them many times with zero issues and great customer service when something did go wrong on one order.

If you don't want to wait you can check Amazon and get a similar deal but for a higher price but fulfilled by Amazon for quicker shipping.

So many different batteries on that site. Hard to know which one would be good
