Looks like a nice compact light:

If you haven’t bought a flashlight in a decade or two, you might want to go for an upgrade. This little HP1 model from Coast...

I have the hp 7 and its a great light. Stumbled on it by accident at home depot. Paid $30 for it, and I see they want $40 on Amazon.
Looks like this needs a li-ion for max runtime and only uses 1AA compared to 4AAA FOR the hp 7 but at $10 each I like the hp 7 enough that I just bought 4 of these hp 1's.

            So 92 lumens: 1AA Alkaline, 3hrs 45min run time.

            Not bad for $10.

Here is a Youtube review back from October this year. Looks like the $10 price is their regular price..

It's the battery life: The $9.99 light runs for far less time than others. The other versions may cost more but you save on battery life.

This light is bad ash..! I got it for Christmas . I'm impressed with just the AA battery. I can only imagine the 14500 battery!

Seriously a GREAT $10 flashlight.. If it was $25 I'd still buy it. Single AA battery is the best part! Just ordered another one

Thanks for all of the reviews, you convinced me to pick up one for each car and a couple for the house. Looking forward to gettting these in!

                            - Is there a hi/lo mode? How to switch? [Answer: single mode]
                            - Battery life on each w/ regular AA? (youtube video says 1hr+ on 'high')

Doesn't look much different than the $5 costco lights if it only has high mode. (no strobe... please)

There are virtually no real reviews on this thing. The youtube video is an advertisement. The other reviews are from flashlight fanatics who focus on tearing it apart and replacing components. No mention of runtime.

i bought about 20 of these lights for the family and as gifts. Great lights! You pull the front section in and out to spread or focus the beam. I highly recommend this flashlight!
