I'm not skittish about them and don't mean to imply they are junk. I just prefer spending a little more for a product made in the USA. I like these: http://www.batterystation.com/cr123a.htm Not quite as inexpensive but still reasonably priced when you buy 50.

Battery junction is a US company. If you buy Chinese batteries from them, you are still supporting their US based company...

If you don't like Chinese products then I guess you don't have any Apple products? Probably don't have a computer (I don't know how you could be posting here) etc. Chinese products are a part of life everywhere in the world. I'm in China quite often and they have US and European products there. Besides all of our food products, Coke, Hagen Das, KFC Papa Johns, McDonalds etc they import a lot of food products from us as well as high tech machinery. It is a world economy now days, we are all tied together.
