So I bit and ordered 500 rounds as well. According to the tracking info provided, it is scheduled to be delivered to me tomorrow.

So while Jack Ross seemed to screw up pretty bad during the heat of the panic, it seems like they have caught up and now have and ship the product they advertise. What I don't know is whether Calgunners just got big time delayed orders, or whether they actually lost money (no product ever delivered and no refund)???

If anyone did lose money, please post up as it will impact whether I ever order from JR again.
Did not really think about this last part. . .but it is a great point, and if people have actually lost money from this company, it will impact my future decisions as well.

I am a newbie around here, but Calguns is definitely worth more than a few pennies per round!

I'm pretty sure the issues started well before panic buying.

This was definitely before the panic. Many did not receive their ammo, many had to beg their CC company to reverse charges. They never responded to emails and had poor service. I believe the brother had to come in and salvage the company. To date I am not sure everyone received their ammo. I understand that it can be tough to start a business and they may have had good intentions but personally when a company withholds product from a customer who has waited many months and were already charged on their card. But would send ammo to ranges who ordered after. More of a rob Peter to pay Paul scenario. That being said, I have a hard time supporting unscrupulous business practices. Read through the thread and it was an ugly fiasco. I was unaffected, but was considering until I saw it snowball out of control. Trust should be paramount and Jack Ross missed the mark. Not telling you that you will have a similar issue. But I have a hard time trusting after what transpired. You only get one chance to make a first impression. Just my two cents. Only wanting to warn my brothers on Calguns to be careful.

It was a year before the panic. Its a great price but I would still not buy from them for the way they handle their business. Taking in orders without having the product in stock, taking customer's money and not refunding it, making it their priority to sale to gun ranges first when you have a hundreds of customer's who paid months to a year in advance is not a business I would ever deal with.

Why not invest in some reloading eqpt and load your own rounds? These people are the reason I started reloading!
