It might not be a great deal for some, but this absolutely the lowest price I have been able to find for .45 (BRASS) reloads anywhere (online or in store. . .ie. LAX AMMO has reloads @ 40 cents, and even at their parking lot sale you were still paying 38 cents including tax)

They claim to use NEW brass, and they come in boxes of 50.

$160/500rds + $15 shipping to CA = 35 cents
$320/1000rds + $25 shipping to CA = 34.5 cents

Ordered 1000 rounds yesterday. . .already have FEDEX shipping confirmation for delivery this Friday.

Ouch. . .did not check reviews before ordering, but it appears that they have had MAJOR issue in the past with delivering things in a timely manner (or at all).

Not sure if their operation has changed since those reviews were written (2011/2012), but like I said in my original post, my ammo was shipped within 24 hours and is already on its way via FEDEX.

Now will it be any good? That I won't know till I shoot some, but most bad reviews I read had to do with slow/non-existent shipping, not bad ammo, so crossing my fingers here!

In those rare cases where they actually deliver ammo, it turns out OK. I'm one of the 3 people in the US that actually got some of their ammo in hand. It'll shoot, assuming its not a box of rocks.

Don't know about the deal u got, but I've had good luck with that same ammo from a local shop.

Just to update. . .today I received my order, and put about 75 rounds through my 1911. Every round went bang, no malfunctions. Dirty like most reloads, but other than that, they were GTG.

Of course with all the issues people have had with this company in the past, I am not sure if I just got lucky, or if they have changed things around. Either way, while I think it was a good deal (from what I have seen), I may have to rethink my next order unless more people chime in with positive outcomes.

I had watched the previous thread on Jack Ross during the panic times, and it did seem to be a big CF pretty much caused by the vendor themselves. After seeing the original post on this new thread, the 45acp they were selling did seem like it was at a good price, and it did seem that they had some stuff in stock now. So I bit and ordered 500 rounds as well. According to the tracking info provided, it is scheduled to be delivered to me tomorrow.

So while Jack Ross seemed to screw up pretty bad during the heat of the panic, it seems like they have caught up and now have and ship the product they advertise. What I don't know is whether Calgunners just got big time delayed orders during the panic, or whether they actually lost money (no product ever delivered and no refund)???

If anyone did lose money, please post up as it will impact whether I ever order from JR again.
