Got mine today, for $1.30 shipped from China I won't complain. I think it's actually pretty well finished

Finally received my refund after talking to their "live" customer service. I inquired about why did my order got overcharged (got charged $3.00 for one flashlight), "Alfred" corrected me by saying the flashlight cost $1.70 each. So I asked why is it stated on my invoice the grand total being $1.30. He beats around the bush and said it is hard to explain. So I asked another question relating to being overcharged, he had the nerve to say that $1.70 was for the tracking of the order, then switches it, and said it was a bug and it will not happen again. NEVER shopping at that scandalous P.O.S website again!

        The Best Little Light Ever!

I picked up this flashlight from my local post office because I missed the delivery :-). I had ordered 10x of these lights for $8 but due to the large demand the order was reduced to 1x for about $2. Now I don't know if this was intentional or not but I gave the website the benefit of doubt. Also, it was not worth it for me to get on with customer service for a few cents.

I decided to let the order proceed and see what the "lottery" purchase gets me. Well, I can say that I made the right choice and got a gem of a flashlight. This flashlight is very well built. It is very bright and is built with solid metal (lightweight). It also comes with a lanyard and a pocket clip. The light is super bright on a regular AAA battery. It has a twist design so it lets me keep it in my pocket without the worry of pressing the button switch.

Now you may be wondering why I am so excited about this $2 light. Consider this- I have Streamlight Microstream that I spent $20 for. This light was $2. The $2 light has a brighter beam as well as the build is very solid. The size is smaller than the Microstream as well which makes it perfect for EDC.

At this point for $2, I would get many more of these just to have for gifts. Even if you got overcharged by a $1 or 2 I am sure you will appreciate this little light.

Interesting, but given the feedback, I think I'm glad I delayed too long to jump on this.

FWIW, since the OP's lights have gone OOS, if you're looking for an alternative, I've been REALLY happy with these little guys:

Only $3.90, so not much more than the DX lights, but I and several friends have these ones from Amazon and they've been fantastic little lights.

Exact same comparison I was going to make. This appears slightly whiter than my microstream (makes the microstream look blue/green), but the microstream has a bit more throw compared to the DX light's flood. The microstream lends itself to pocket carry a bit better with its on/off buttonat the tail. The DX flashlight has the twist closed to turn on mechanism that I despise. I'm sure its more reliable than the twist open to turn on of say a mini maglite but I can't stand that the front of the light just twists around aimlessly especially if its in my pocket where I can't see that it turned itself on. Definitely a personal bias towards switches/buttons compared to twists for me.

Definitely worth the $1.30, but it won't replace the $15 microstream in my pocket. It's gone to live in the change tray in my car to help look for dropped keys and read maps.

edit: forgot to mention the clip. It is a very similar design to the microstream's dual direction clip. It can do the normal pocket clip (lens down) or clip to the brim of a hat (lens forward). unlike the microstream however, the hat side clip doesn't clamp all the way to the body of the light. This means that I can't clip it to its own lanyard for a quick-deploy hanging loop.

Anyone else get this flashlight? Any opinions or reviews on it? I have been using mine for the last few days and it has been such a great light for me. I think the build quality and the flood bright light works so well for my applications.

I got mine and it seems sturdy, well made and bright. I also thought that it was only a twist on/off but my son showed me that if you push on the tail cap, it will turn on/off that way. Not sure exactly how it works as there is no click or button that you press.

I got mine a few days ago, not bad for $1.30. Twist on and twist off, you gotta make sure to really twist it off completely, sometimes a bit of pressure will make it flicker. Fits in the coin pocket of my jeans, runs on a AAA battery, does it's job and for $1.30 I'm not complaining. Just took forever.

I got mine and I already threw it away. It's a POS in my opinion. Thank gawd, it was only a buck.
