Mine will be delivered on Monday, I am curious what the holes to bolt to the floor are like, is there 2 or 4 and does it require drilling or are they ready to go for bolt down. Pics would be awesome!

      Thanks.

          Attention:
Some owners may notice a odor coming
from the safe. This is due to the adhesive
that is used in the manufacturing process
and the “new safe” smell will
          dissipate over time

There are 4 black plastic caps on the safe floor. Pull those up and the 4 holes are pre-drilled and good to go.

The only thing I had to drill was through the fireboard from the from the pre-drilled hole on the back of the safe so I could install my Dri-Rod.

So how thick is the bottom of the safe, how long of a bolt is needed?

costco's website says it won't be back in stock due to high demand. i gave up on this one and paid more for a combination lock since that's the type i prefer anyway. this is still a smoking deal though.

on a related note, how much are you guys paying for bolting down your safe?

Ordered mine 4/11, got a call from the delivery company last Friday, scheduled 4 hour window for today and it is here.

If the thieves are willing to lift this sucker and run off with it, they're welcome to their hernias. I almost got one pushing it up my twisty driveway.

                    Thanks for the deal OP!

Got mine delivered yest, took the door off to move it upstairs and I swear a single small ball bearing came flying out of one of the hinges. Did anyone else have this happen and where does it go exactly?

Almost happened to me but the ball bearing stayed in and the steel rod in the hinge flew out. The ball bearing goes in the bottom of the upper hinge underneath the removable steel rod.

You guys who moved it upstairs. Any tricks besides pulling the door off?

Anybody still waiting for theirs? I ordered mine on the 14th and haven't heard anything other than an order confirmation email. I'm in San Jose and not out in the boonies.

Sounds like everyone has already gotten theirs shipped.

My order was placed that weekend too (4/13) and haven't heard anything. I remember it saying 4-5 weeks to deliver, so I'm patiently waiting. Gives me time to hoard guns and ammo.
