Interesting choice of opening in Palmdale instead of Santa Clarita

I see so many gun related stickers on cars here in Santa Clarita and given the fact that we have 4 public and 3 private outdoor ranges (that I know of) within a 40 minute drive, Santa Clarita might be the damn gun capital of SoCal. Hell when I looked into properties in Texas, none of them had nearly the options I have here, notwithstanding the stupid CA gun laws.

A Turners in Palmdale will be direct competition to Dick's Sporting Goods, Big5, the mom and pop gun shops as well as the Pawnbrokers that sell guns. Only Walmart might have better ammo prices. Handgun selection? Turner's will corner the market here.

I hope they get a manager that provides excellent service that the customers will appreciate.

Decent place to live for a California gun owner, as long as you don't commute to the Valley and beyond. My regular range is out there.

We have been looking in the Santa Clarita area for 8 years now.
We have had multiple offers rejected for various reasons including landlords not wanting a firearm dealer in their shopping center.
We are still patiently waiting for the right opportunity to come up.

Good to know. You may have better luck going into Stevenson Ranch or Castaic (especially with lake) since the City of Santa Clarita will have no say in those areas
