Unfortunately, it doesn't matter if the roster directly deals with imports.
Because they are all imports, they are not CZ-USA, and therefore not the approved make.
This would be the basis for denial.
    Which sucks.
who is the one checking ? by serial number ? your FFL ? is it how he/she finds it on a pull down menu ? who determines if it is on the roster ? if people here can't figure it out. I don't think a Turner's sales rep would know either. who makes that call ?

CA handgun roster has specific SKU for models allowed to be imported. A lot of FFLs check for this

SKU only appears on the box and it indicates the firearm model and the magazine capacity. IMO you should be able to purchase the CZ BD (not the POLICE) and DROS it as is. The model name/number matches the roster and there is no box, therefore there is no SKU to check, just make sure it comes with a 10 round magazine.

so back to the old question:

who determines what sku is it ? what does FFL enters in the computer to determines if it is on a roster ?
how does the seller (in this case, JG) know if it is on the list by looking at a used gun ?

From my experience, the FFL will look at the model name and #, in this case CZ 75 BD, DROS pull down menu has the exact description, that's the end of it.

I'd be in for a group buy if somebody knows a good FFL in L.A. to receive these

So tired of this stupid ****ing "roster of bull**** guns to infringe upon your rights." that's what it should be called.

these are engraved with CAI importation stamps. SKU or no SKU, if different grips are enough to make something materially different than what was tested, so would the engraving.

I know when the Sig P6's surplus guns were imported it mattered who the importer was as only one of them was tested and put on the roster.

I was talking about for CZ, and some FFLs can be sticklers for Sku's when transfering CZs since the standard mag models have different numbers. So might have to shop around for an FFL that doesnt mind it before commiting to purchasing online

so you are saying on DROS computer, there is a choice of importer for each model of the gun ?

No, there isn't, but is there a choice for grip type?

Doesn't mean I agree with the absurdity (As I would buy 2 or 3 if I could), but don't want anyone to get their hopes up.

I also asked in the FFL forum for their opinion, since quite frankly, it doesn't matter we think. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1082058

HOWEVER - I think DOJ would argue that this is not the "CZ 75 BD" that is on the roster because of the "Police" designation on the slide. They would argue that this is a different model and is not rostered.

ahem PW arms P6 on roster, CAI P6 off roster.....
