it might be cheaper for you to ship ups, should checkout the website first, ups is always going to be a better way to ship even if its a few $$ more. All that being said, I can ship this out on monday if you like just to be safe.

i just saw that youre in AZ, so it should be ok to ship tomorrow, or saturday(if you guys ship on saturday) usually takes about a day and a half or two days for mail to get from AZ to here

With ups you would be in a 1 day zone, usps no idea how they do their shipping. My ups rep stopped by today and we were discussing getting some pricing set in place so that they could compete with the usps flatrate box. I hate usps with a passion btw...

In the past, I've seen some of the spinners offered with powder coating. Is that a potential option for the armor plates?

It might be a possibility, I just shipped some armor plate to the california shop and they should get there early next week. There is a powdercoat oven in modesto.

Any ideas on how to prevent splatter injuring you if you get shot? I hear that's the only downside with the metal based plate, that and weight.

Yes!,, you need kevlar soft body inserts, preferable the same size as the plate, it would just sit on top of the plate. they are excellent for catching the fragmentation! you can get them on amazon for a fairly decent price, but just make sure there is at least 32 layers of kevlar in what you buy. You may also want to look into getting padding put underneith the plate as well, because its going to hit you in the chest HARD when it takes a round. hope this helps!
