I just ordered one of these babies and it says there is 1 left available. $300 shipped? Yes please. I for some reason feel it may be too good to be true, but their feedback was good and they had a 30 day return policy (with 10% restocking fee unfortunately) but when I can save over $150 on this, I think i'll take a chance. Plus amazon has a good rep on their A-Z guarantee which makes me feel better about my purchase.

how does this compare to the Nikon Buckmasters 4.5-14x40 ?

From what ive seen the m223 is supposed to be quality of the monarch series thats built for the 55gr .223 ballistics... It claims 95% light transmission vs the buckmaster is 92%. Plus with the added mount thats separate adds an additional 20 MOA.

Yea, I think the M223s are reworked Monarchs. I have a Monarch and you should be happy with the M223.

Theres a used one being sold from amazon "warehouse deals" for even cheaper! holy crap. Ive bought stuff from there before and its practically new...sometimes it doesnt come in the original box though. It does have a return policy as well! Check it out!
