Okay, I just read AB962 and it says only FTF sales or sales to Persons whose licensed premises are outside this state who are licensed as dealers or collectors of firearms pursuant to Chapter 44. My question is does that mean you could NOT sell handgun ammo to people out of state via the internet ? My other question would be that do you need any special FFL or license to sell ammo ? I was thinking if I purchased this business that I would only sell online out of state and at at local gun shows. I would not sell at a store front. At least until AB962 is repealed or found unconstitutional.Comment

Correct me if I'm wrong, but come Feb 2011 I don't think distributors will be allowed to send ammo to California, if you don't have a storefront. If you wanted to continue this business in California. You will need to be in 1 of 2 situations. 1) You have a storefront or 2) You have a friend in another state who is willing to do the shipping.http://www.ammosphere.com/ Profitable Ammo Business for SaleComment

I actually do have a store front. I currently only sell wholesale (Filters) so do not have retail traffic. If it was possible to sell over the internet to people out of state and not have to deal with the BS that AB962 requires in state I would consider it. I could also drive up and pick up your inventory on a weekend in my F250.Comment
