Edit: Forgot to mention this is in Elk grove.

I remember the good old days when it was always at least that stocked...

i like the help yourself style rifle and pistol ammo racks.out here in the bay area there locked up glass display cases and the idiot that supposed to be at the sporting goods section is never there.i hate the 20-30 wait minimum just to buy ammo or just to be told we dont have any

Next time you go to the HB Walmart, don't be fooled when at a distance you see a cabinet full of ammo. Either someone was bored out of their mind, or they like to watch the hope drain out of customers' eyes once they realize it's all shotshells. I don't even think they intend on putting the popular calibers in the cabinets anymore. Some nice lady was asking for 9mm for her husband, and the person working there went straight to the locked cabinets underneath the counter to check:

Was there 5-26 and 0. Was there right after you also and all .22lr and 9mm was gone. It seems CG and gunbroker gougers are stalking this WM.

Nice of you to leave some, I've done likewise, but they would let you buy more than 6 boxes anyhow?

Ammo does seem to be catching up a tiny bit at Wal Mart in some loadings/calibers.

I picked up 3 100rd Rem UMC 9x19 115jhp recently. I kept 2 and sold one to a friend at cost. These sell for only $24ish when available.

.45acp is very hard as is the .22lr bricks sort of.

            .40 is somewhat easier

I saw tons of .30carbine ball recently at Garden Grove but at $25 per 50 I'll pass.

A friend recently picked up .38spl at Wal mArt, 2 boxes of 50 fmj at $15 each. I passed but .38 or .357mag seems rare at Wal MArts.

I may have to resort to going to WalMArt at 6-7am but I am loath to stand in line with the gouger losers.

They recently remodeled their store and on Wednesday was their "grand opening," so they had to keep the store full and clean. Corporate was down there. They didn't do this because they wanted to, it's because they have to. Shipment of 9s, 40s, and 45s came in on Tuesday night by the way...gone by wednesday afternoon.

Foothill Ranch has ammo RIGHT NOW! Guy behind me probably cleared out the last of the 9mm WWB, but they had two cases of Blazer 9mm, a case of .40, and at least 3 cases of 22LR. I got 6 boxes of WWB, woohoo!

As of 11:00 am today, when i got there there was no more .40 or 9mm. The two 7.62x39 wwb that you see in the picture is still there and there was only one box of the federal .22 left. I bought the one box of federal .22

i was kinda depressed to only get one box of the federal 22. I was hoping I would be able to get a few more since I use a brick about once a week.

Garden Grove had about 40 boxes of BB 9mm and 15 boxes of BB 40S&W.
6 boxes of WWB value packs of 40S&W.
