Walmart update(s)....?

I just got back from WalMart Corona. They had boxes and boxes of ammo. I asked the lady to purchase some. She's says she can't sell me any because they have people on a waiting list and that first they have to try and sell it to people on the waiting list. I ask her how I get on the waiting list and she tells me they aren't doing the waiting list anymore because too many people flaked or said they wouldn't be able to pick up the ammo for a couple of days. I was so DAMNED MAD! She said I'd have to check back later and see if anyone flaked and try then.

That's such BS!! Go back there and DEMAND that she sell you AMMO!! Tell her that there is nowhere posted in the store about AMMO NOT being on a first come first served basis. Tell her there is no NOTICE of a waiting list POSTED anywhere in the STORE!! Then DEMAND to talk to the STORE MANAGER and if the store manager denies you, DEMAND you talk to the DISTRICT MANAGER!!

The pricing on WWB 38 Special was 29.97 (or just around 30) at the Wal-Marts near me.

I'm at los altos now. No pistol ammo on the shelf except a couple boxes of .25. Plenty rifle and shotgun stuff though. This guy Eric here in the sports department is a real *****. I got the impression from another employee that there is more stuff here but Eric either won't put it out or is holding it for someone.

walmart elk grove got in 6 boxes of 223. i bought 2 boxes.

The Simi Walmart does not do the waiting list thing anymore because someone got really mad and through a fit when he went to pick up ammo that he was waiting for and only half of it was there. The list was a bunch of BS anyways. I was on there for several things and never got a call even though the items had come in and was out on the shelves for sale to anyone.

WalMart Azusa didn't have much this afternoon. A few 50rd boxes of .22, some .25, .300, and a few other rifle rounds that seem to not sell a whole lot. No bulk ammo, and pretty much no handgun ammo. The salesman said they got some 9mm this morning but it all sold.

Nothing at the west palmdale walmart today. Had a quick conversation with the older guy who is often at the ammo counter. Seems there are 4 or 5 guys who show up there at 7 am every day...and they would buy all the ammo in sight. I suppose they must love the 6 box limit. I wonder if it gets enforced on the "regulars"?

Unless they have something that regulates the purchases in the computer (which I doubt), then no. I highly doubt it would get enforced on regulars. They most likely still hide ammo and set it aside for specific people too, not surprising. I've been offered the same luxury but have not taken it.
